Remove Critical Alert from Microsoft Fake Alerts

Please help me. I keep getting a "Critical Alert from Microsoft" informing me of a virus infecting my computer and threatening to disable it if I don't contact Microsoft etc... The Error code is (268D3 - XC0037. Has anybody else had this problem and if so, how do I get rid of it???? This problem keeps occurring every day now and is driving me bonkers. McAfee does not seem to pick this up, therefore won't activate

What is  "Critical Alert from Microsoft" ?


Don't worry, if a window which says "Critical Alert from Microsoft" pops up when you are browsing the web. Method three: Manually get rid of Critical Alert completely



Step One: Eliminate Critical Alert From the Browsers.

For Microsoft Internet Explorer

1. Run Microsoft Internet Explorer.

2. Click Tools, click Manage Add-ons.
3. Click Toolbars and Extensions tab.

4. Right click Critical Alert process and then select Disable option to stop its running.

Attention: If you use manual way to remove Critical Alert, you may encounter more difficulties.
