Remove Heur.JS.Downloader effectively and permanently

I believe my desktop computer is infected and that it is now spreading to my other devices via my home network. Heur.JS.Downloader was found by Emisoft. Scans by both Avast Anti-virus and Malwarebytes showed nothing. MS Malicious Software Removal Tool showed 11 infected files while the scan was running, but when it ended it said no infections were found and no list of those 11 files were shown.

  1. It can be detected by Emisoft but not all famous anti-virus programs.
  2. It can spread itself to your other files or even machines.
  3. It can be be detected but not to remove that easily.

So what is Heur.JS.Downloader?



Heur.JS.Downloader is classified as a dangerous Trojan horse which can slip into your PC without any knowledge and permission. Drive-by-download is one of its way to get to your computer. When you download something, you should be careful because you may download the Trojan horse yourself but thinking it a useful tool. With the purpose to distribute its malicious codes into your PC, it successfully steals your personal information. It tries every method until it gets your money.

Start>>Control Panel>>All Control Panel Items>>Folder Options. In View tab, tick "Show hidden files, folders" and deselect "Hide protected operating system files (Recommended)", and then confirm your actions. Then you need to find associated files and then delete them.




Step 4: Delete associated registry entries. (Be caution during this step.)
Use Windows+R keys to quickly come to the interface.Input "regedit" and click "OK" to get to the Registry Editor. Seek carefully for any related registries and remove them. Don't remove any if you can't recognize them.
