Easily Remove 1-888-681-7586 Scam

I received an error message on my laptop that stated that my email account had been suspended due to suspicious activity. When I called this # the person told me it was AOL tech support. I asked him how did this message appear on my computer when I dont use aol mail and he told me to never call this 1-888-681-7586 again .... hmmmm sounds fishy to me.
