Permanently Remove 1-866-683-3116 Pop-up Tech Scam

I received a Microsoft alert on my laptop not to shut down call 866 683-3116 in 5 minutes to avoid computer damage. I could not exit out of their screen. Called them and they were trying to sell me network security for a year. I hung up after he was calculating charges to clean up laptop and said my computer was hacked.
