The 1-888-642-4301 dialog box in your browser may seem like a security warning from Microsoft, but it is not. This alert claiming "YOUR COMPUTER HAS BEEN BLOCKED. Error # xxx. Call us immediately" (sometimes travels with the company of an audio message) is a fake one hosted on untrusted pages, and you should not believe the message or the domain displaying the pop-up is legitimate from the Microsoft Corp. The designers of the 1-888-642-4301 pop-up made an effort at trick users into having communication with them via calling this helpline. Do not be fooled!
