This is how he got infected with Globososo.
"Reset Windows Explorer but had problems doing this too as it had overridden some of the standard functions I needed to reset Windows 7 IE back to default. I therefore downloaded Windows IE 11 but the problem persists. I had to remove and re-install Firefox as well as it was also infected. I still had problems when I re-installed Firefox as it installed another known malware browser called Globososo but I have changed this to Google and am hoping it will not revert back."
