However, Universalsearch.co is reported by computer users to generate many pop-up windows loaded in user's browser whenever the users surf the Internet. Universalsearch.co can run as a background process and reroute the Internet traffic to earn revenue for its creators. Universalsearch.co may lead users to phishing pages which ask users to install the rogue software.
